January - Review of Anthony William's books, Life Changing Foods and Liver Rescue
February - Further review of two previous books. Top tips for detoxification
New Year's greetings to our PALS and their Caregivers
We hope that your New Year resolutions include eating better, planning to beat ALS with better health and long-term planning for what you will do as you regain your health.
Recently we have obtained two very powerful books written by Anthony William. He is a medical medium who gets his health information from a superior source. You can visit his web site at www.medicalmedium.com. Another source for coming to understand his validity is on Patricia Tamowski and Scott Douglas' website www.healingals.org. Here is a link to a page that gives Patricia's perspective on Anthony William: https://healingals.org/anthony-william-on-als-sallys-story/. This page features his first two books. Patricia was particularly interested in his Thyroid Healing book as she has struggles with severe thyroid issues for much of her life and is correcting them.
The two books I am referring to now are Life Changing Foods and Liver Rescue. In Life Changing Foods, he references certain foods that have a powerful influence on changing our health. They include fruits, vegetables, herbs and spices and wild foods. He explains in detail why each food is so valuable and should be included in our diet as well as what specific health issues that food may be especially good for. In addition he includes a recipe for each food. He specifies for ALS: apples, berries, melons, oranges, papayas, celery, cucumbers, leafy greens, aloe vera, cat's claw, cilantro, lemon balm, parsley, turmeric, chaga mushroom and dandelion. That is not to say that the other foods listed are not also good for someone with ALS, but that those listed are especially good.
Then just a few days ago his newest book, Liver Rescue, arrived at our door. I am a bit blown away at the information it contains and its value for ALS, and I have not even read 50 pages yet. He does not even mention ALS in the book, but I have known for some time that it is possible that a misfunctioning liver could have a lot do to with ALS.
We have communicated with Linda Paulhus who believes that a liver that is plugged up with gluten (a glue) cannot process toxins as the gluten has formed a plaque over the liver's filtering system. Gluten comes from wheat and other gluten grains including barley that is used to make beer. She gleans this information from Dr. John Foster who studied ALS and how a diseased liver affects ALS. He is now deceased and Linda is in her mid-70s. She had Epstein Barr virus and was in a wheel chair for 5 years before she healed herself of that virus. The Medical Medium book is based mainly on healing the Epstein Barr virus, but also includes a chapter on healing Lyme disease. Linda also lost a son to ALS. There is no connections between Anthony William and Linda Paulhus. Linda may be right about her liver analysis, but Liver Rescue has far more in-depth information about the liver. Linda's ALS page is http://www.essiac-linda-paulhus.com/als.html.
Chapter 4 on page 25 of Liver Rescue talks about how the liver is a storage system for vitamins and minerals and how it supplies the body with those vitamins and minerals when needed. It is known that PALS are not processing the vitamins and minerals they need as they lose weight and cannot gain weight. Could it be a damaged digestive system or a damaged liver or perhaps both? Doctors want PALS to eat high carb foods - sugars and grains - to maintain weight. That is likely counterproductive as those foods create fungus which is detrimental to healing ALS. The weight gain does not need to be from junk food but healthy nutrition. If the digestive system is not function well and the liver is plugged, then the needed vitamins and minerals are not getting to the body that needs them so desperately.
There are 442 pages of how to understand the value of your liver, how it orchestrates your health, how it can help you heal your ALS (even though he is not specifically talking about ALS), suggested supplements, recipes of great value, meditations to help heal your liver and regain your peace in life.
Could these two books be your best guide in 2019? Of all the reference books on our site, I believe that these two along with Dr. Carolyn Dean's Magnesium Miracle are the most valuable ones we own.
Additional note from Kim:
Anthony William contributes his understanding of human illnesses and helps to divine guidance or inspiration from God. This is hard to comprehend or understand, yet the books are written in laymen's terms and seem to make a lot of sense. They make you feel a though you should have heard these things before and from many doctors and ALS specialist. We believe much of what he recommends puts the power to start the healing process in our hands. He references the power and importance of emotional stability and the power of love and service.
Though we do not officially endorse Mr. William, we encourage all PALS to listen closely to his writings and seek your own guidance to what may help you move forward and find your chance to heal.
Even with the challenges I have faced this year, including at least two mini strokes, a sepsis battle, a nine week hospital stay and open heart surgery to replacement a damaged mitral valve, I am battling back and am committed to heal, with many years ahead. It is our most sincere wish that with God's help and guidance, each of you join us in this winning battle, and have a prosperous and blessed New Year.
Dear PALS and Care Givers,
More thoughts on the books, Life-Changing Foods and Liver Rescue.
Anthony Williams lists the Unforgiving Four in the Life-Changing Foods book. One is Radiation. Two is Heavy Metals. Three is Viral Explosion. Four is DDT and all the other toxic poisons we are exposed to. He says the Holy Four are Fruits, Vegetables, Herbs & Spices, then Wild Foods. Every time I pick up the book, I am learning more, even if you just read about one food at a time.
Anthony William discusses in his Liver Rescue book the sluggish liver and how that affects our health. He also discussed Dirty Blood Syndrome. He says that when the liver is too full of toxins, those toxins get filtered back into the blood which then gets plugged up with toxins and can't move or perform as well for you carrying toxins throughout the body. He also mentions that chronic dehydration contributes to dirty blood which he called dirty blood syndrome. Anyone who has consumed soft drinks extensively would be dehydrated as soft drinks dehydrate the body. Coffee is also dehydrating.
He mentions the importance of exercise which helps rid the blood of excess fat thus making more room for oxygen. Kim used a lot of oxidative therapies, but the EWOT - Exercise with Oxygen Therapy - would give you exercise versus just lying in a hyperbaric chamber.
There are positives and negatives on the internet about Anthony William. One positive one is a short radio interview by Glenn Beck where Glenn describes some similar incidents in his life to what Anthony experienced.
Another is a very negative one that Kim found. So the issue is you have to decide what will work for you. Anthony does not suggest anything except what God has put on the earth for our use. That has always resonated with us, and we have incorporated several of his ideas and foods and recipes. One is for a chaga mushroom drink that helps you sleep. We have had it three nights in a row now and slept well all three nights. I have included the recipe. It takes a bit to gather the ingredients, some of which I ordered online like the chaga mushroom powder, but now think it was worth it. We also warm up the coconut milk and water on the stove a bit but have not done the "whipped cream" yet. That seemed like a lot more work.
Spiced Creamy Hot Chaga
1 cup coconut milk
1/3 cup hot water
1 tsp Chaga mushroom powder
1/2 tsp ground cinnamo
1/4 tsp ground ginger 1/4 tsp ground cardamom
1/8 tsp ground nutmeg
1-2 Medjool dates
1/2 tsp alcohol free vanilla extract
For the coconut whip topping (optional): 1 14-ounce can coconut cream or full fat coconut milk, chilled in the fridge overnight 2-3 tbsp raw honey
Directions: Place the coconut milk, water, chaga powder, cinnamon, ginger, cardamom, nutmeg, dates and
vanilla in a blender and blend until smooth and frothy, for at least 2 minutes.
To make the optional coconut whip, chill your mixing bowl in the freezer for 10 minutes. When the bowl is chilled, remove the thick cream from the top of the can, leaving the coconut water behind. Using an electric whisk, beat the cream for 2-3 minutes until you get soft peaks. Add the honey and beat for another 2 minutes.
To serve, pour the latte into a cup and top with coconut whip (if using) and a sprinkle of cinnamon. Serve immediately.
There is more information on the original recipe about the value of chaga mushroom. You can ask me to email it if you would like it, or there is information in the Life-Changing Foods book.
Next subject is detoxing.
Top Tips for Detoxification
This article includes information from a German Doctor named Dietrich Klinghardt who is known for his success is working with neurological issues and Lyme disease. He has worked in the US for 35 years and also has offices in London and Switzerland. He helped get the constitution in Switzerland changed to accept natural therapies as acceptable treatments for illness. Switzerland is the only country in the world with such acceptance of natural therapies.
Another interesting note is that he mentions rectal ozone in the article (vaginal for women). Kim did rectal ozone treatments twice a day for probably two years before cutting back to once a day and then maybe once or twice a week. So many PALS think they need to use the hyperbaric chamber (incredibly expensive) to heal the body from ALS, but hyperbarics alone will do nothing to improve ALS symptoms. Kim used the hyperbarics in combination with diet change, supplements and ozone. We believe that the diet changes, supplements and ozone were a greater part to the key therapies in his healing. Then you add the power of his determination and his being the captain of his healing, and you have a winning situation.
The cost of getting set up to do rectal ozone treatments at home is relatively inexpensive. Compared to hyperbarics, it's a drop in the bucket. We can guide you through that process, and it is a therapy you can do at home.
Another source for insufflation equipment is Promo Life, Inc., www.promolife.com. There are training videos and product information on their site. They also offer a discounts for those with an ALS affiliation. Their ozone generator is quite expensive, and we can give you another source for that. You may also even be able to find a used oxygen concentrator.
We are enjoying being in Yuma, Arizona. Kim has played golf a few times and is anxiously awaiting the vertigo to be gone so he can play better. The game is tough enough without the balance issue.
