Dear PALS and Caregivers,

In our church, we are encouraged to "Light the World".  That means to bring light into someone's life each day of the Christmas season.  The 12 days of Christmas usually means a gift of something each day, but "Light the World" would be more like a gift of yourself, kind thoughts, remembering someone's special day,  giving kind words to the store clerks or any stranger or loved one, showing gratitude, etc.  The more kindness you put out, the more is returned to you.  As your spirits are lifted, the more healing can take place.  Also concentrating on giving "Light" to other helps you forget for a time your own physical challenges.

So whose face can you put a smile on today?  Here is ours to you.

The other thing that came up this morning was an article from Dr. Mercola.  We had a presenter at the Healing ALS conference that discussed marijuana and CBD oil, but I believe that this article is even more comprehensive.   Last week, Kim had a sciatic nerve hit him hard.  Never has happened before.  We tried some different things to no avail, but located some CDB balm.  It is working and he is getting some relief.  From this article, I also learned that it can help with sleep problems, gut issues, and neurological issues.  Sounds like we should all read it several times.

Our warmest wishes are with each of you for a joyous and blessed Christmas season as we celebrate the Birth of our Savior.
