Dear PALS and Care Givers,
More thoughts on the books, Life-Changing Foods and Liver Rescue.
Anthony Williams lists the Unforgiving Four in the Life-Changing Foods book. One is Radiation. Two is Heavy Metals. Three is Viral Explosion. Four is DDT and all the other toxic poisons we are exposed to. He says the Holy Four are Fruits, Vegetables, Herbs & Spices, then Wild Foods. Every time I pick up the book, I am learning more, even if you just read about one food at a time.
Anthony William discusses in his Liver Rescue book the sluggish liver and how that affects our health. He also discussed Dirty Blood Syndrome. He says that when the liver is too full of toxins, those toxins get filtered back into the blood which then gets plugged up with toxins and can't move or perform as well for you carrying toxins throughout the body. He also mentions that chronic dehydration contributes to dirty blood which he called dirty blood syndrome. Anyone who has consumed soft drinks extensively would be dehydrated as soft drinks dehydrate the body. Coffee is also dehydrating.
He mentions the importance of exercise which helps rid the blood of excess fat thus making more room for oxygen. Kim used a lot of oxidative therapies, but the EWOT - Exercise with Oxygen Therapy - would give you exercise versus just lying in a hyperbaric chamber.
There are positives and negatives on the internet about Anthony William. One positive one is a short radio interview by Glenn Beck where Glenn describes some similar incidents in his life to what Anthony experienced.
Another is a very negative one that Kim found. So the issue is you have to decide what will work for you. Anthony does not suggest anything except what God has put on the earth for our use. That has always resonated with us, and we have incorporated several of his ideas and foods and recipes. One is for a chaga mushroom drink that helps you sleep. We have had it three nights in a row now and slept well all three nights. I have included the recipe. It takes a bit to gather the ingredients, some of which I ordered online like the chaga mushroom powder, but now think it was worth it. We also warm up the coconut milk and water on the stove a bit but have not done the "whipped cream" yet. That seemed like a lot more work.
Spiced Creamy Hot Chaga
Ingredients:
1 cup coconut milk
1/3 cup hot water
1 tsp Chaga mushroom powder
1/2 tsp ground cinnamo
1/4 tsp ground ginger 1/4 tsp ground cardamom
1/8 tsp ground nutmeg
1-2 Medjool dates
1/2 tsp alcohol free vanilla extract
For the coconut whip topping (optional): 1 14-ounce can coconut cream or full fat coconut milk, chilled in the fridge overnight 2-3 tbsp raw honey
Directions: Place the coconut milk, water, chaga powder, cinnamon, ginger, cardamom, nutmeg, dates and
vanilla in a blender and blend until smooth and frothy, for at least 2 minutes.
To make the optional coconut whip, chill your mixing bowl in the freezer for 10 minutes. When the bowl is chilled, remove the thick cream from the top of the can, leaving the coconut water behind. Using an electric whisk, beat the cream for 2-3 minutes until you get soft peaks. Add the honey and beat for another 2 minutes.
To serve, pour the latte into a cup and top with coconut whip (if using) and a sprinkle of cinnamon. Serve immediately.
Serves 1
There is more information on the original recipe about the value of chaga mushroom. You can ask me to email it if you would like it, or there is information in the Life-Changing Foods book.
Next subject is detoxing.
Top Tips for Detoxification
This article includes information from a German Doctor named Dietrich Klinghardt who is known for his success is working with neurological issues and Lyme disease. He has worked in the US for 35 years and also has offices in London and Switzerland. He helped get the constitution in Switzerland changed to accept natural therapies as acceptable treatments for illness. Switzerland is the only country in the world with such acceptance of natural therapies.
Another interesting note is that he mentions rectal ozone in the article (vaginal for women). Kim did rectal ozone treatments twice a day for probably two years before cutting back to once a day and then maybe once or twice a week. So many PALS think they need to use the hyperbaric chamber (incredibly expensive) to heal the body from ALS, but hyperbarics alone will do nothing to improve ALS symptoms. Kim used the hyperbarics in combination with diet change, supplements and ozone. We believe that the diet changes, supplements and ozone were a greater part to the key therapies in his healing. Then you add the power of his determination and his being the captain of his healing, and you have a winning situation.
The cost of getting set up to do rectal ozone treatments at home is relatively inexpensive. Compared to hyperbarics, it's a drop in the bucket. We can guide you through that process, and it is a therapy you can do at home.

Another source for insufflation equipment is Promo Life, Inc., www.promolife.com. There are training videos and product information on their site. They also offer a discounts for those with an ALS affiliation. Their ozone generator is quite expensive, and we can give you another source for that. You may also even be able to find a used oxygen concentrator.
We are enjoying being in Yuma, Arizona. Kim has played golf a few times and is anxiously awaiting the vertigo to be gone so he can play better. The game is tough enough without the balance issue.
