Dear PALS and Caregivers,
I have been getting email newsletters from Dr. Mercola for many years. At first it was just 2 or three newsletters per week. Then he began sending them daily on multiple subjects, and I thought how in the world can I keep up with this. So I have to pick and choose. He won't tell you how to heal ALS, but in reality, he does. As you learn to live a clean life, your body can heal from what ails it. I often will just read the "story at a glance" to see if it is something important for me or my loved ones. That includes all PALS.
You can subscribe to his website for free. His site is www.mercola.com.
I have included an article from Dr. Mercola and two from Green Med Info.
Prayers and blessings for healing to each of you.

Story at-a-glance
Why is this article important? It is known that people with ALS have misfolded proteins. Misfolded proteins is a sulfur deficiency. So eat those vegetables with sulfur - onions, garlic, cauliflower, broccoli, cabbage and even Brussel sprouts if you like them. We have some sulfur veggies almost every day.

Story at-a-glance
- Sulfur is the third most abundant mineral in your body. Sulfur-containing amino acids increase your levels of glutathione and N-acetylcysteine (NAC), which play important roles in health and fitness
- Glutathione metabolism influences the control of epigenetic mechanisms at several levels, including substrate availability, enzymatic activity for DNA methylation and the expression of microRNAs
- NAC supplementation may be useful for the prevention of cardiovascular problems in older people by lowering oxidative stress and improving mitochondrial function
- Glutathione deficiency can induce epigenetic changes in genes that regulate vitamin D metabolism in the liver, and research suggests glutathione supplementation could help reduce the risk of vitamin D deficiency in obese individuals
- Glutathione and NAC also ameliorate exercise-induced stress and reduce muscle fatigue. Glutathione may also play a central role in chronic fatigue syndrome
