We had to make an emergency trip back to Idaho for the death of a loved one. We were gone for about 10 days, away from our equipment that Kim uses for ozone treatments. We took our organic breakfast stuff with us and mostly ate organic while gone, at least as best we could. But the challenge for Kim was sleep. He knows how critical it is for his health, but sometimes sleep would just not come with the loss of this loved one. Now, he is struggling some with a bad cough and lung issues. At least we know how to work on clearing them up.
Linked is an article from Dr. Mercola concerning the importance of good sleep.

Dr. Mercola has written other articles on sleep. If the information in this one does not resolve your sleep issues, then maybe one of his other ones will. (He has a search window on www.mercola.com.)
We feel that one of the reasons for Kim's ALS diagnosis centered around his not getting enough sleep running two businesses and a brain that never wanted to stop. When you sleep properly in a dark room with no electronics, your body makes melatonin which makes glutathione, your master antioxidant. Antioxidants fight free radicals which are too abundant in PALS. If you turn on a light in the night, your melatonin production stops. You can guess that that is not a good thing, because PALS needs all the glutathione they can get.
Another sleep trick that has helped both Kim and I more recently (2020) is getting some sunlight in your face first thing in the morning for 10 to 20 minutes. That helps reset the circadian rhythm which is important for sleep. Then dimming the lights in the evening before bedtime helps the body begin to create melatonin.
So this is wishing you the best of zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzs in the coming nights and years.
